The real cause for the growth of gangs is unemployment. You put 50000 Costco level or union jobs -- that people with limited education can actually get and do -- and the death count goes down. There's just a class war that's very real against the poorest members of American society. And while the Republicans are clearly happy with this state of affairs its just not clear that the Democrats are fighting this neo colonial consciousness effectively. They're either incompetent or they're in on it....
